Help for Bangladesh Meteorological Department

"Committed to problem solving."

Many of the national meteorological services operating in developing countries rely on traditional, autographic meteorological instrumentation, much of which involves a pen arrangement to record data on a clockwork-driven drum chart. The special ink used for these applications is no longer widely available and, in 2011, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, through their agent in Dhaka, contacted MetEngUK for assistance in sourcing an ink supply.

MetEngUK was able to discuss the matter with a specialist manufacturer, and a substantial quantity (140 x 200ml bottles) of special recorder ink was manufactured and shipped by air to Bangladesh within two months of receiving the order.
