MetEngUK technical staff routinely travel throughout the geographic British Isles providing expert engineering support services wherever meteorological instrumentation is used professionally. Aviation related applications are clearly in the majority, but regular servicing visits are also made to power stations, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, ports and harbours, local authority monitoring stations, and even to some of the more serious sporting organisations.

Wind speed and direction systems are in widespread deployment by most MetEngUK customers. Additionally, aviation users may require the servicing and/or calibration of precision aviation barometers, cloud base measurement systems, visibility meters or IRVR equipment.

MetEngUK can offer calibration services for all these systems. Where wind, temperature, humidity and pressure are measured, an exchange sensor service is available to minimise equipment down-time during servicing.

MetEngUK's unique warranty ensures that where sensors are replaced during an annual routine servicing visit, and therefore carry a twelve month warranty, the customer generally never needs to purchase a new sensor.
