MetEngUK engineers were called to Scottish Power’s Rye House power station, near Hoddesdon, Herts., today to resolve problems with the operational wind indicating system, and investigate the loss of data from a temperature measuring system.

Met Engineering Limited today completed the installation and commissioning of a Vaisala PA50 aviation barometer system at Walney Island Airfield in Cumbria. The system, as ordered by BAE Systems, includes sensors and other equipment to provide displays of accurate air temperature and humidity data, as well as airfield-specific pressure information, in the control tower.
