Vaisala and MetEngUK Directors meet in Manchester

MetEngUK has had a close business relationship with Vaisala Oyj, the Helsinki-based meteorological system manufacturer, for over a decade. A day-long meeting took place on 8 March 2007 at MetEngUK’s Manchester headquarters, between directors of the two companies.

Also present at the meeting between Mr Christer Helenelund (Director Sales & Marketing, Vaisala Oyj) and Mr Brian Mott, Director MetEngUK, were Mr Pekka Mannila (Sales Manager, Vaisala Oyj) and Mr John Redman (Sales Manager, MetEngUK).

The primary purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the inter-company relationship, and discuss Vaisala’s involvement in MetEngUK’s development plan.

Vaisala’s products are employed globally wherever quality, accuracy and reliability are the foremost requirements from meteorological sensors and systems. MetEngUK, whose staff have been installing and servicing Vaisala systems for over a quarter of a century, invariably recommends Vaisala products for aviation applications.
