BBC interviews MetEngUK boss

The exceptional rainfall amounts falling over northern Britain this year prompted the BBC to contact MetEngUK for comment.

During a live interview on BBC GMR today, Mr Brian Mott – Met Engineering Limited’s managing director – stressed that the company could not offer weather forecasting services, but did provide an illuminating insight into how rainfall amounts were accurately measured and recorded.

MetEngUK can supply, install and calibrate a wide range of precision rain gauges, but advises that its services are, in general, only available to professional equipment users.
