Emergency visit to ATC (Lasham) Limited to resolve critical airfield equipment problem

Lasham airfield was visited today by MetEngUK engineers, called out by ATC (Lasham) Limited, the UK’s leading independent aircraft maintenance organisation, who operate the Hampshire airfield.

The airfield wind system had failed and, needing expertise for the installed Vaisala equipment, it was natural to engage MetEngUK. To the delight of the airfield authorities, the problem was quickly identified and corrected, with the system being restored to full serviceability within 30 minutes of the engineers’ arrival.
