MetEngUK supplies aviation barometer system to Hampshire Constabulary Air Support Unit

A Vaisala PA50 aviation barometer system was supplied, installed and commissioned at Lee-on-Solent airfield, Hants, today by MetEngUK for the Hampshire Constabulary Air Support Unit.

The Hampshire ASU is the principal user of the ex-naval air station, from where their Britten-Norman 4000 Islander aircraft operates.

Hampshire Constabulary has also engaged MetEngUK to provide annual routine servicing and calibration of their airfield wind system, as well as for the new barometer system.
