New laser ceilometer for City of Derry Airport

City of Derry Airport today placed a firm order with MetEngUK for the supply, installation and commissioning of a new CL31 laser ceilometer system.

This state-of-the-art equipment, manufactured by Vaisala Oyj, is the latest addition to an array of hi-tech meteorological systems supplied to and installed at City of Derry Airport by MetEngUK, throughout a mutually successful business relationship that has endured for more than a decade.

As well as supplying and installing new equipment, MetEngUK provides annual routine servicing and calibration services for all operational meteorological systems in use at the airport.
