City Airport Manchester delighted with new airfield meteorological systems provided by MetEngUK under a special Agreement

A special Agreement, signed on 9 January 2009, between City Airport Manchester and Met Engineering Limited, provided for the installation, commissioning and future calibration and maintenance of a precision aviation barometer system, and a new airfield wind system, at the historic Manchester airfield.

The equipment installation was completed on 17 February 2009, when Mr Tim Swatridge (Airfield Manager) wrote: “Again please accept our thanks on behalf of City Airport Manchester Ltd for your very generous loan of the Vaisala items which significantly improves the standard of our VCR equipment.”
